Week two of The Weekend Novelist

OMG! I’m in a novel hell of my own creation! There are a lot of exercises that need to be completed to be in accordance with the author Robert Ray’s approach to rewriting. Though I’ve been a bit slow to catch on, (very slow) I can say that as a result of his fine tuned approach to storytelling, I have had some major epiphanies about my novel. Major!

I can’t wait to finish all this prep work (ARG!); making scene list, index cards, charts and graphs – and dive into my re-write. It’s overwhelming for us slow-bees, but exhilarating. Back to work -I need more coffee…

Did I mention I LOVED the coffee in Sidney Harbor?
