Literary Liaisons

A blog about writing and all things story…

Affordable year-round writer’s getaway! Check it out.

If you can take a weekend or more to get away and work on your writing, I’ve found a great place. If you need a rustic (but like new) hide out, writer’s-nest/getaway, try Leavenworth. I’ve stayed in this place ON the Wenatchee River and it’s a dream. The view is awe-inspiring. Write all day next to the river and then walk into town (10-15 minutes) for dinner at one of Leavenworth’s many, many restaurants.

Or, if staying next to the river nestled in the woods isn’t your cup of tea, you may be more inclined to be a city dweller. Check out this writer’s nest above the main street in Leavenworth – a cozy condo above the Bavarian shops in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. Check it out! Writer’s Condo.
