A blog about writing and all things story…
Just in case you aren’t aware of it, there’s a world class
Film School right here in Seattle Washington.
And according to my friend Heather Pitre, aspiring
screenwriter, The Film School holds first Tuesdays
where you can join them at the Roy Street Coffee House for story/film-related events.
Whether you’re writing screenplays, novels, or short stories the essence of your craft is good storytelling (it is, isn’t it?) … Well, anyway, good storytelling is what these nights are all about. At these first Tuesday events you may have the opportunity to meet TheFilmSchool faculty Tom Skerritt, Stewart Stern, Warren Etheredge,John Jacobsen and Rick Stevenson, as well as alumni. They also screen short films and have guest speakers. Check out the line up and the classes at their site The Film School.
