Submitting to agents and editors

Yesterday a writing friend asked me about

querying agents and editors. The best advice I can give is to seek an experts opinion; which I am not. Though I’ve queried, pitched and sold some stuff, it’s been a while and these days the
publishing world moves as rapidly as a rushing, gushing, raging river and expectations change with the speed of a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

The best guidance I can offer is that you begin by reading what Agent Tracker has posted on their informative web site under AGENT QUERY FORMATTING AND SUBMISSION LAW. And then, if you’re manuscript is up to snuff, start submitting. Don’t limit yourself to the US, consider submitting to Canada and the UK as well. Good luck!
