Using Words to Illuminate

When I hear a song that moves me I look it up and educate myself about the author who wrote it. Recently I heard the song, TAKE ME TO CHURCH and was blown away by the voice, melody and lyrics. The video is both provocative and evocative. Give it a listen, a watch and then listen to the writer, Hozier on why he wrote it, and what his vision and intentions were. Hozier is a writer using his words to educate the world by shedding light on a huge global issue of human rights. This is powerful, heartbreaking and frightening in equal measure.
