I Won the Writer’s Digest Contest ~~~YEY!

This is such an honor that among 300 entrants and the final 5 talented writers, my story, A Mother’s Confession placed first. I’ve been entering contests for several years now and have been a runner up in Glimmer train, an Honorable mention in Writer’s Digest Mainstream Fiction, and so on, but ‘always the bridesmaid, never the bride’ seemed to be my result. However, this summer I took first place in the Edmond’s EPIC Fiction contest and now this in Writer’s Digest YOUR STORY 66 contest. My advice to you is “KEEP writing, keep honing your craft and keep entering contest!”

Yippie Skippie!

And if you voted for A Mother’s Confession, THANK YOU!

If you haven’t read the SHORT story yet, and you want to, here it is A Mother’s Confession. 🙂thank you
