A blog about writing and all things story…

Published in Writer’s Digest ~ Yippie Skippie!

Writer’s Digwd coverest Magazine is one of the most respected resources in the global writing community and has always been my go-to resource for writerly information and education. That’s why I’m so excited to be published in the WD Magazine this month. My short story, A Mother’s Confession won the ‘Your Story’ contest and can be found on page 52. I know it’s just 750 words, and I know, I know; how can 750 words getting published when I have the completion of my next novel looming over me, be so exciting? Because every little bit of encouragement fuels creative energy and moves me forward. We all work in such seclusion that when the world pats you on the back and says, keep up the good work, you actually feel like hey, maybe I should keep going.
So, for today, YIPPIE SKIPPE! Tomorrow, back to work.

Thanks Nicole. Missed you at WOTS this year? Of course I was sick and barely there myself. Hope all is well. Mindy
