A blog about writing and all things story…
My Favorite On-line Writer’s Resources
Some of my favorite writer’s resources and mentors:
Larry Brook’s site Storyfix is an author must.
Creating an outlaw? Gloria Kempton‘s book, The Outlaw’s Journey is a MUST. It’s a great read and a workbook too. Don’t tlet the fact that she wrote it for writers behind bars (prisoners) it’s for us outside scribes as well. The insights will help you create the dark side of your protagonist or a multi-layered villain—either way, life changing.
The Weekend Novelist – If you need serious writing instruction, visit this blog; it’s like a taking a master level class from Jack Remick and Bob Ray
Michael Hauge’s Screenplay Mastery – Great newsletter for screenwriters and novelist alike.
Story and Script Doctor, Bill Johnson – Excellent story structure and analysis done by this long time pro.
